Originally designated as 'yellow' horses by the TWHBEA, the palomino Tennessee Walking Horses have been around since at least 1913, when Sheark's Yellow Horse sired Simmon's Mollie II.  Today, they range from deep chestnuts with flaxen to snow white manes and tails, through the unusual champagnes and buckskins, to the palest ivory golds and perlinos.
