Shadow Hunter 88 is a 14.3 hand, blue-black Tennessee Walking Horse stallion, with a neck coming straight up from the shoulders, sloping shoulder and nicely angled rear leg and a sturdy build. He has superb natural ability and gentle playful disposition He has only had keg shoes on -- now barefoot, he exhibits a smooth natural walking ability at liberty or in hand. Shadow Hunter 88 is a classically bred stallion. Shadow Hunter 88’s pedigree contains over 30% Merry Boy genes. He is a ¾ line bred Merry Boy stallion. Shadow Hunter 88’s mare line is particularly strong and outstanding. His dam, Tim’s Shady Lady, produced the fine Walking Mare, Star’s Meadowbrooke. His 2d dam, Majors Miss Impala produced Coin’s Money, a Classic Plantation show horse, while his 3d dam Impala Secret Lilly produced the Walking Mare, Pushing and Pulling.

Crosses between Merry Go Boy-bred horses and Midnight Sun bred horses have historically produced outstanding walking horses.
