BeTouched is a 15.2 hand, black Tennessee Walking Horse stallion. He is a powerful, sturdy horse with a deep heart, exceptional reach and outstanding back end. He has a long slow stride reminiscent of his sire, WGC The Touch. BeTouched possesses strong legs and an excellent back end, an attribute that is missing in many top performance horses today. He is a beautiful horse with outstanding presence—he is a show horse.

This gorgeous son of 1993 World Grand Champion, The Touch is a walking machine! According to his trainer, 'BeTouched only has walking bones. His gait is ideal for the Tennessee Walking Horse, reaching from the shoulders in front, deep striding behind, and nodding with his head and neck.'

His owner comments, "He has walked this way since he was born. When he is in a running walk, if I put one foot in a rear hoof print, I cannot stride and reach the other rear hoof print!"

BeTouched has proven sire power in his first two generations, an indication of any stud’s ability to produce like quality. He  is the sire of Selfwinding Touch and Holiday Touch, already ribbon winners in the weanling and yearling classes.  Watch out for The Jamaican Touch starting his show career in the weanling class this coming year. He is nominated for all years of the futurity.  Cross our fingers that he does well.   His owner told me two days ago that this is the FIRST colt that she has ever had (she shows weanling and yearlings) that "NODS his head AND has a BIG BACKEND".  She is excited...I hope she has a great show season.

BeTouched is by WGC The Touch, by Another Grey John. The Touch was 1993 WGC. 20% of The Touch’s get became performance horses and show horses in all divisions; such as, Touch 911, Delicate Touch, Touch Me Not, Touched by Sunrise, Touch’s Liberator and Touch of Hysteria. BeTouched’s grandsire on his dam’s side is Go Boys Nite Storm.

BeTouched’s first two generations of dams are also proven producers of show horses. Stormy Debutante has produced BeTouched, a Park Performance division show horse, and two pleasure division mares—F-88’s Sparkle Plenty and Blues U Over. BeTouched’s 2d dam, Spirit’s Ebby, produced not only WGC The Touch, but also, Pusher’s Touch, a Walking Stake Horse, and Grey John’s Silver Lady, a Walking mare. Go Boys Nite Storm is by Merry Go Boy 2 times WGC.

He was bred to walk, being out of Stormy Debutante, a mare that walks and nods and shakes her head so naturally bare foot that if you didn't have the bridle buckled on, she would shake it off.  "Stormy Debutante" is also the dam of "Charged Up" by RWGC "Eb's Black Charger."
